She’s Out of My League – An Honest Review

Did you always want to know what it felt like to date a girl or a guy “out of your league?” Well, tonight I plan to go find out! The movie looks adorable and although it may be a “chick flick” I’ll bet they’ll be a lot of online dates going there this weekend! Okay, so here’s my review.
The movie was predictable and definitely a late-night let’s-just-rent-a-movie kind a deal. Without giving away the plot, let’s just say the previews pretty much summed up the movie except for the ending. There was just one slight twist towards the end, but the rest was blah, blah, blah, with too much of the F word and other profanity that didn’t add a thing to the fluffy plot. It was truly funny in some parts, but was a very light, entertaining, but no-brainer kind-of-movie. The two main characters were convincing, but the supporting cast were all “canned” except for the “Mom” who played the “Mom” on the 70s show reruns you see every afternoon on cable. There was some nudity (for a change it was the guy!) and some attempt at the “morale of the story is..” but a fifth-grader could have written this plot where the most profound thing said was
“if it is true love, then you are a 10″ or something to that effect – not real-life changing there, but again, entertaining for a Friday night.
