time she ever lays eyes on him —  in a skirt!

I like pets.

Too many photos of your motorcycle WITH or WITHOUT you.  If you are looking for a motorcycle Queen, she’ll get it with the first shot, guys.

A string of fish that you proudly caught, even WITH you in it, women are not looking for photos of fish even though this may be your favorite hobby.  They want to see YOU cleaned up, lookin’ good, sporty without fish guts or grease stains on  your pants.

Your daughter alone smiling and she’s young without you in it.

Your children on vacation without you in it.

A postcard view of any mountain without you in it.

A postcard view of any sunset without you in it.

A photo of your dog (okay you love it), but YOU are not in it.

I think you get my drift…… We women want to see YOU – I know, I know, you’re just giving us a taste of who and what you like to do.

BUT!!!!! There is a BETTER way!  Tell us in words and show us your BEST self in your photos.

What”s NOT:

I have to say up front  that I’m not DESPERATE about getting married again and I don’t think that I’m going to marry every woman I meet  even if that is what you are thinking…

(Don’t use the word desperate – it puts a woman immediately on the defensive because YOU are – go for the offense!  Something like — I am looking to remarry one day when I find the right one.  Noone is asking for your references on how NEEDY you are.)

What’s NOT:

Let’s label this one:

TMI (Too MUCH Information) and DTTO (Don’t Touch That One)

Okay girls, I’m laid back and not into drama queens or head games, so don’t try me….

For me a typical weekend night without a date you’ll find me at home pirating bootleg….

Oh – and this one — the biggest secret I don’t want anyone else to know (c’mon you’re putting it on the INTERNET)
is that I had sex once in a …….and I’ll probably go to hell for that one?

And this one – you either cook meals the right way, or I’ll throw you down the stairs like I did my ex-wife? What???  RUN from this one!

That’s NOT the typical guy or the typical profile - and it may be someone’s idea of a joke, BUT it’s NOT HOT and not cool.

Let me show you some samples of some phrases used that ARE HOT because they are honest and genuine and show a lady that you have some substance to you:

I am an honest, hardworking guy who is looking to fall in love again and find the woman I can enjoy the rest of my life with, is that you?

Personal integrity and character are very important, in my opinion. I think that it’s important to not only live life by a high standard, but also in a way in which people know that they can depend on you to do the right thing and keep your word – even when the easier choice would be to do the opposite.  Do you agree or disagree with that?

I definitely have my typical guy side – I love sports (especially football, hockey and MMA), but I also enjoy the performing arts as well.  My other favorites are photography, music and singing, as well as going to see live theatre.  If that sounds like we are a match, don’t hesitate to email me.

I’m happy and optimistic most of the time and truly enjoy life and am always curious about the world around me. Honest and sincere:

I am looking for a lady that is independent yet still knows how to treat her man.  I will rub your feet and cook your dinner and ask you how your days was today. I am not looking for a maid, because I know how to do all of that for myself.  I was taught to treat a lady like a lady. Like if I know that you had a rough day, I would have dinner ready and waiting on the table for you.  If this appeals to you, I would love to hear from you.

Do you like to explore on the weekends and just get away? Or, do you like to spoon on the sofa on a rainy day after spending the morning in antique shops browsing and laughing and enjoying each other’s company?

My ideal date would be to take you up at sunset in my private plane, show you the coast, and fly all night until the daybreak and then land for a romantic breakfast.

Honest and clear -  nothing wrong with a statement like this because it is better to know up front, going in, before you get your heart broken:

Sorry, but for me, a deal breaker is smoking, drugs for fun, highly religious, or you have children already since I want to have my own with you.
